Rough Layout of our Digipak

During the planning stages of our ancillary tasks, we created a layout of what our digipack is going to look like. We thought about colour, style, the inside booklet and how it will be different to the Lungs album by Florence and the Machine.

Ideas for our front cover:

-Having an image highlighting her face and mainly her red hair.

-Having her lying down looking up at the sky in a wood.

-Having the front cover in colour or black and white.

-We would keep the front cover minimalistic by just having the image of her face. We would not have the band name or the name of the single because we want our audiences to be captivated by our image.

Ideas for our inside booklet:

-Our inside booklet, would be a folded booklet that unraveles into several pages.
-Having images from our music video with snippets from the lyrics across the top or bottom of the pages.

-A page in the booklet with all of the lyrics.

-A "Thank you" page from our artist.

-A collage of different images layed on top of each other to create the background of the pages of our booklet.

-The CD would be decorated with patterns or swirls in colours that link to our genre of indie pop.

-We would experiment with a different range of colour for our booklet such as:

-Light Blue

-Peach

-White

-Cream

-Light Green

Ideas for our back cover:

-Our back cover would have magazine comments and reviews about the song.
