AS Media Foundation Production/Main Production Blog Postings

For this Production to create 2-5minutes of a film opening, our group consists of Perry Allen, Sam Walton, Sophie Legge and Laura Pinkney. I will be playing a spanish latin salsa dancing extraordinaire called Enrique Jaoquin Esteban Julio Ricardo Rodriguez III who is accompanied by a glamorous entourage. Perry will be playing my arch rival who is a professional dancer, and his character is based on someone from the 1970's. Sophie and Laura will be playing my glamour girls and they will be helping with the filming, make up and editing. Everyone has their own role and we did not want any one to feel left out.

The genre of our film is a comedy and our intended audience is for 15years or over. We based our comedy on films such as Blades of glory, Tropic Thunder and Anchorman.
Our film is called "Upstaged,"and it is about two rivals in the dancing industry. The film looks at each one's history and background and how these two dancers hate each other. In the end they meet each other and it does not go as planned.

Filmed by "Boris get out of my vegie patch" Productions. (By the way I am the only one who liked this name.)

  1. This sounds entertaining but I'm slightly concerned that you seem to be using Hollywood comedy as your model as this is very hard to replicate with no budget!
